back at yangshuo area, this is the li river on a bigger boat.
guy working the field.
a cool bug misa found.
a yao lady on her cell phone. she ran the "look long hair, give me money, take photo, long hair photo, long hair photo, long hair photo..." business. after they chased us we gave them money. they had very long hair. we took pictures.
walking up the terraces away from ping'an. the whole place is too photogenic it gets difficult. because we are here at the end of the summer, the grain is at its highest. if we were there after harvest, where the grain is would just be pools of water. though it looks dense when you stand over it and look down there is a foot between each bundle, and its mostly just water, which trickles down bamboo shoots from one level to another.
our window in Ping'an.
the view in the other direction from bright moon mountain.
climber.
bright moon mountain. yue liang shan, if you look close there is a guy climbing on the top left.
the bamboo raft. this is not on the Li river, the other one, the smaller one, i forgot its name.

the kids who we shared our train bunk with to Guilin.
looking over at the pudong from the top of the peace hotel. also a piece of dust making a cameo.
